A HAPPY & HEAVY NEW YEAR
We wish you a happy new year!!
Here's a little forecast of 2009:
At the moment we are busy with the search for
new female singers. More news about that will be
announced soonest at February.
The upcoming gigs with AXXIS (17.01., Vienna,
Viper Room) and RIP IN SILENCE (07.02.,
St.Johann/Pongau, Casino Rockbar) will be sung
by Tom only.
In parallel with the search for new female singers,
we started working on new songs and merchandise
products (T-Shirts!!), promote the worldwide release
of our new album IMPETUS and try to fix some more
gigs for the tour, which will end in autumn 2009.
Around that time we have planned to start the
preproduction of our next album.
Last but not least:
Check out the brilliant new EP from THE DRAGONSLAYER
PROJECT which also includes guest performances by
Tom and Markus.

A HANDFUL OF NEWS
Unfortunately, we've got once again some sad news:
Flo has left ECLIPTICA.
A statement of him will be published here as soon as
master Flo has been recovered from an influenza.
We wish you all the best for your future and thank you
for all the great times we have spent together!!
We will miss you!
A new Mr. Bassman is already found.
We will announce his and the new female singers
profile as soon as we got time to take new band photos.
So stay tuned!

STATEMENT FROM FLO
Here is the statement from Flo concerning his exit
from Ecliptica:
Hi folks!
About three years after joining I decided to quit
Ecliptica for various reasons.
I had thrilling experiences I would never imagine
before I joined.
I look back on highlights such as the Donauinselfest
of 2007, the Metal Battle and Wacken in 2007, and the
support we did for In Extremo at the Arena 2008.
But in my memory all other gigs, too (even the
small-sized ones) will remain forever.
Besides, there were all the moments off-stage… and
„one or two squiffy conditions“.
With all their ups and downs, these will be three
unforgettable years.
But now the time has come that I will dedicate
myself to other goals.
I want to thank the band for the special time, and
of course I thank all the people and friends, too,
who supported me and Ecliptica during that time.
Thank you!
I wish Ecliptica great fun and success for the future and
– „keep on speeding, guys!“

IMPETUS RELEASE USA
We are glad to inform you that our Debut Album IMPETUS
was just released in the USA!
August 11th was the official release date, we have been
looking forward to this great moment and surprisingly
we have already read a lot of positive reviews despite
the short time from its release and we are very excited
to hear even more.
We would like to thank our label Frontier Records for
the support and of course all our friends and fans in
the United States, who’ve been waiting for this album
to be released.
We see it as a major archievement for us as
an Austrian Band, to be promoted in the States with
this album and we hope you guys enjoy it.
KEEP UP THE METAL!!
