NEW FEMALE SINGER, A POLL & THE STUDIO

Before starting with the real thing we wanna ask you to help us at the poll for the

To the singers choice...
We first want to thank all the girls who entered the ecliptican ship for the free female singer position.
We have to announce that we have found the perfect person to fill this position and we are going to
publish her name and all the details soon.
The reason why is that we are going to enter the studio in 4 weeks and our timetable is more than
full at the moment. We also want to take the pressure off of our new girlie to give her the needed time
to learn the songs as well as to prepare for the recording days.

It has been great days so far preparing for the sudio and we finished writing our last song (Black Swan)
and the pre production which has been recorded fully in our own rehearsal room...

At the moment we are working on the last few lines for the recordings and can't wait for
2nd of January 08 to enter the studio.

We are sorry to inform you fans and friends that our christmas show in Eferding
on 22nd Dec 07 has been cancelled due to problems of the promoter.
This means we are heading straight forward for our studio time...
...which brings us to things you guys might already know...
We are working on our first full-length CD which got the working title “Arising”
(if somebody needs it in a longer version - call it “An untitled book of fairytales” ;-)
We plan to enter the studio in January next year, but before we have to take some hard work
getting it all together.

Since September we're signed by
DARK DREAMZ BOOKING, which will check our booking
and some parts of the management in the future.
Because of current reasons we've decided to close the KING ARTUS area on our homepage and
replace it by a completly new press area.

We've made it... Now available the ECLIPTICA FIRELIGHTER!!!
These days we prepare for our new full length album, working title "THE RISING".
Bernie himself is checking some studios and guess, we have a favourite... ;-)

We finally made it…. Unbelievable but true!!!
After waiting for more than a week, yesterday we have been informed about the decision.
We won the final of the first WACKEN METAL BATTLE AUSTRIA!!!!!
WE ARE HEADING FOR WACKEN 2007 playing the WORLD FINAL 2007!!

SEMIFINAL @ METAL BATTLE

We have reached the semifinal at the METAL BATTLE WACKEN 2007 presented by
DARKDREAMS.
It's time to thank the DARKDREAMS Crew for making a fantastic band contest so far, in a
really great environment. Thumps up!!
We have been invited by the METALCHAMP organizators to play a special guest performance at
the METALCHAMP SEMIFINAL on Saturday, June 30th, 2007. The evening will start at 8 p.m. and
we will play our set between the last contest band and the jury score. The set will take

We finished mixing and mastering phase of our first cd-release „The Awakening“ –

We have fixed a distributorship agreement for our debut CD "THE AWAKENING".
"REBEAT Music Vertriebs GmbH"
will distribut our CD exclusively in Austria,
Germany and on digital media.
Big thanks to Martin Heinrich and the team of REBEAT Music.
From April, 14th 2007, you can buy "THE AWAKENING" at every good sorted specialised trade.
In two, maybe three weeks, the production should be done.

NEW YEAR, SKI CHALLENGE & something more...
Happy new year!
We wish you all the best for 2007!!
First of all, THANK YOU for the great feedbacks to our first gig.
The collected works, like reviews & pics, can be regarded in the MUSICSTORE
under the
MEDIA -Button.
The first part of pics from our photographers, in this case from GG, you can find

LIVE -Button. Some more will follow soon.
We can't rehears the last weeks because Roman was away sick.
After the gig at the Planet Music he was slightly injured because of a inguinal strain.
This week we will start rehearsing again.
The orchestral arrangements for the "AWAKENING" CD should be finished and recorded
at the end of this month.
We are working as well on a tour plan for spring 2007.
Some people around the eclipticans camp a very much into sports this time.
But not the usual way, guess they call it "e-sports", that means to spend a lot of time
in front of the computer and try to ski the downhill classics of the world cup - with
a console. More informations about this game you can find under

I created a ski club at the game, called THE ECLIPTICANS. We are three members at the moment,
Roman (alias "eclipticadrummer"), the legendary Viech (alias "Winki2911") and me
(alias "ecliptica"). If you are interested, join the game and please send a mail with your
alias to
ecliptica@chello.at, then I will add you to our ski club.
Just for the fun of it. Maybe we can do our own challenge and the winner gets a six-pack ;-)

at the top of this page.
